4 cups cooked rice- cooled
1 cup cooked tiny shrimp
1 large carrot- shredded
1 bunch green onion- chopped
1 1/2 cup water
1 cup soy sauce
2 tbls cider vinegar
2/3 cup sugar
Put the last four ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil,
reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes until the sugar is dissolved. Add
shrimp, carrots and onion, simmer for 10 minutes. Now add all to the
cooked rice and fold together.
Serve warm or cold. |

#10 Can of Yams (serves 10-12)
large can of pineapple
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine
3 large bananas- diced
3/4 cup shredded coconut
2 cups mini - marshmallows
OPTIONAL 1 cup of either chopped (pecans, almonds or
walnuts)
Combine all ingredients, except 1/4 cup of coconut. Mix well and place
in large baking pan. Top with remaining coconut. Bake at 350 degrees for
one hour.
